Godchildren

(Community Matters) Nico’s staying with us this weekend. Loved hanging out waiting for school to end at Matthews Elementary, what a terrificly diverse student body – even among teachers. Heard at least five languages among the parents.

And . . . great to be greeted enthusiastically with a big hug, even in front of classmates 🙂

Plans to spend the afternoon with his “godsister,” our goddaughter Lauren. The two met at the Obama debate party at the Austin Music Hall and became fast friends. So, met Lauren and mom, Karen, with plans for boating on Lake Austin.
