Lots of talk about Hillary earning promotion in the Senate and idea of Obama’s campaign picking up her campaign’s $20 million debt. Not sure how she can continue with this level of debt – so many unpaid bills that vendors aren’t likely to extend more credit since the race is over and she just doesn’t seem to know it.

Why should the Obama campaign pick up the $20 million Clinton campaign debt? And what do you mean “earning promotion”? A committee chair? Why?I had a lot of respect for Hillary up until a couple months ago. Campaigns bring out the worst in people, I guess.She needs to look to Ted Kennedy as a role model. He ran in the primaries in 1980. Came in second. Still had a great Senate career working on issues he cares about. A policy wonk like Hillary should still relish her important position as a United States Senator. There’s no shame coming in second. She still gets to be an influential leader of our country if she wants to, as senator from New York.
