Govalle Elementary

(Community Matters) Amanda has pulled together going on 400 volunteers from Austin high-tech companies to descend on Govalle Elementary School this coming Friday. They’ll landscape, paint, build, tutor, fix and otherwise transform this campus in about 8 hours. I wouldn’t miss this Entrepreneurs Foundation Fall Service Day except that it’s my and Steven’s delayed vacation. We’re taking a few days in San Francisco in lieu of our two weeks overseas this summer, during which I didn’t want to leave since Michael was starting his treatment.
