community matters
It's about community, entrepreneurs, politics, art . . and sometimes just silly fun . . . a slightly gay blog.Eugene Sepulveda
Love big West Texas skies, the unimpeded horizons of the coasts, Austin and my husband, the Rev. Dr. Steven Robert Tomlinson, with whom I’ve spent the last 24 years – nineteen years since we were married on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada. Then, married again at St. James Episcopal Church in Austin, TX on June 27, 2015.

GOP Governors Support Economic Stimulus
(Community Matters) Well, most. Not ours. In fact sounds as if our GOP leadership is trying to reject the financial support to help Texans in tough times and to even insure more children. here

The Flu
(Community Matters) Yikes – no one likes being sick. I’m running out of projects, and it’s only 2pm.
I need a good book. Though there are probably 1,200 books in this house, not a single one is what I want to read. Is Book Stop still open? This might be horrible but I want to read the next John Grisham.
update: ok, maybe not my best move. 102F and driving are sorta in conflict. But, I did get my book (book people), two movies and the ingredients for a root beer float
Day 2 – feel even worse. hmm, glass half full perspective: I’m getting caught up, reading, resting and watching movies.
