(Community Matters) turns out Doug Manchester, the developer of the 
proposed 50-story convention hotel promotes discrimination against gays – donated over $125,000 to discriminate against CAs LGBT community, to overturn Prop 8. NOT the type of business partner with whom the City of Austin should be doing business. I’m hoping our council won’t consider granting waivers and concessions to a developer who promotes discrimination against gays and lesbians. AAS story
