(Community Matters) according to our ListServe a pretty severe outbreak in crimes in our neighborhoods. I’ve recently heard of a seriously concerning breakin within a block.

APD wants us to know that North University and surrounding neighborhoods are being targeted in a crime wave this week.

The Hyde Park listserve has been lit up with multiple burglary reports in the last 72 hours. As the summer break approaches, it is time to get to know your neighbors, look out for each other, and batten down the hatches! If something does not look right, call 911. Members of the department have repeatedly assured residents that they would rather come out on several false alarms than to have to respond to a crime discovered after the fact.
