(Community Matters) Directly from The Page: Hillary Clinton enthusiastically picked a filly named Eight Belles to win the Kentucky Derby and compared herself to the horse. Eight Belles finished second. The winner was the favorite, Big Brown.

Eight Belles collapsed immediately after crossing the finish line, and was euthanized shortly thereafter.

    I guess I would comment ‘poor horse.’ But there is lots of chatter about thoroughbred horse racing being cruel. Is your point that Hillary (and Eight Belles being euthanized after an agonizing injury) is ‘good enough for us girls.’ Yeah, stupid of her to say it, but you could muster a little more compassion for the animal (and females?) don’t you think?
