6:30 this am my cell goes off. It’s the kids at Starbucks, “are you ok.”. I knew this wasn’t really the reason for the call (though they are right to have expected me by then on a Sunday, & I hadn’t told them I was leaving town), so asked directly. Turns out they have a surprise waiting for me. Rats, I was in Houston this am. They said I’d get it tomorrow.
Several readers have questioned why Starbucks instead of local. Well, community can obviously be just as strong at Starbucks & local doesn’t open at 5:30 on weekdays. Plus, I’m often at Medici later in the morning. Posted from my blackberry
