On Thursday, June 2, Beth Nobles and Texas Mountain Trail celebrated the launch of the Far West Texas Wildlife Trail at Davis Mountains State Park, and honored two “Hospitality Heros” in a ceremony at the Davis Mountain State Park. Barrett Durst and the staff of Big Bend Ranch State Park were recognized for their care of park visitors during record cold temperatures this winter – and Marfa Public Radio staff and volunteers at 93.5 FM were recognized “for their life-saving coverage of recent wildfires.”
