IDEA a good partner for AISD

(Community Matters) UT Professor Michael Marder is an exceptional scholar with excellent knowledge of our local educational infrastructure. I don’t believe he otherwise has a dog in this hunt. His support for IDEA is the confirmation I need that they are a good partner. (I’m not defending bad community participation practices). AAS: Austin school district says critical IDEA study doesn’t tell whole story

Nice Being Back in Austin

(Community Matters) Fun catching up, running errands, enjoying this idyllic Austin, winter weather.  Even cooked for and entertained friends last night: Lily & Yigal Saad, Lynn & Tommie Meredith and Amy Grace & Doug Ulman. Saddened Suzanne & David Booth weren’t with. Suzanne’s dad, Harry William Booth (90 yo), passed away Thursday night.

A celebration of Harry William Booth’s life will be held Sunday, January 8th at 2PM at First United Methodist Church followed by a graveside services.
