(Community Matters) UT Professor Michael Marder is an exceptional scholar with excellent knowledge of our local educational infrastructure. I don’t believe he otherwise has a dog in this hunt. His support for IDEA is the confirmation I need that they are a good partner. (I’m not defending bad community participation practices). (Community Matters) Fun catching up, running errands, enjoying this idyllic Austin, winter weather.  Even cooked for and entertained friends last night: Lily & Yigal Saad, Lynn & Tommie Meredith and Amy Grace & Doug Ulman. Saddened Suzanne & David Booth weren’t with. Suzanne’s dad, Harry William Booth (90 yo), passed away Thursday night.

A celebration of Harry William Booth’s life will be held Sunday, January 8th at 2PM at First United Methodist Church followed by a graveside services.
