(Community Matters) There are Gremlins in our house; I know this.
in a very short matter of time (all within the last 7 – 10 days):
- the antique plumbing to the original tub malfunctions; it’s 100 years old, not easily repaired
- during a dinner party cleanup, part of a sink faucet comes unhinged. The plumber notes it’s a very fancy French faucet; parts are hard to come by
- the light switch to our cooking range hood is malfunctioning and the light will not turn off
- rarely trouble with my car (other than running out of gas), but all of a sudden, a stabilizer bar goes bad
- the function keys on my blackberry fall out
- my computer malfunctions and won’t boot. I keep trying to reboot. Finally it’s back
- A tooth feels weird when I’m eating. I go to the dentist this morning. They touch it and it breaks.
Community Matters 
As a friend always says, “Ah, the problems of the rich!” Or now, I guess, “Ah, the problems of the 1%!” 🙂
There are times when the inanimate world turns against us, and this not infrequently manifests itself as a mass mutiny by things technological.
Not sure how your tooth fits into all this, but as someone who had three wisdom teeth extracted a month ago, I almost literally feel your pain.
Stay steadfast; this too will pass.
