(Community Matters) My husband loved it – Cate Blanchett in Botho Strauss’ Gross und Klein (aka Big & Small) at the Sydney Theatre.
I have to admit, I was too jet lagged and German drama is not my strong suit. Watching last night, I realized I am sometimes just too intellectually exhausted and/or lazy to give some performance art a fair shake. But, I did notice that Blanchett live is as brilliant as Blanchett on the screen, and when Steven spent 15 minutes narrating scene by scene this morning, I absolutely loved the story. He knows, I’m sorta bad about metaphors and poetry.
Steven highly recommends this play, and we think everyone in the Rudes (& their fans) should see it 🙂
