(Community Matters) Enchanted by Christer Strömholm’s, a Swedish photographer living in Paris in the late 1950’s, photographs of the transgender communities of the Place Pigalle and Place Blanche neighborhoods.

Strömholm published his book, Les Amies de Place Blanche, in 1983.Of course I’ve just ordered the new version of Les Amies de Place Blanche with stories and essays. I’ll call it research for my, Garrett’s and Robert’s TransPecos Fest.
