Thanks so much for the post, Eugene. We really appreciate the mention and your support. As you know, every penny the Octopus Club raises goes to the Paul Kirby Emergency Assistance Fund at AIDS Services of Austin to support our friends and neighbors living with HIV and AIDS in Central Texas. Last year, this event raised over $56,000 for the fund. We’re still tallying up the numbers for this year, but I am confident we will exceed last year’s record. We could not do it without the artists who donate their work, the hosts and corporate sponsors who underwrite the cost of the event, and the volunteers to make it all happen.
